Peter Rainsford Presents

Free

Peter Rainsford presents a Miscellany of Music and Creativity.

Peter is founder and director of Tafelmusik music school in Oxton. Each month he brings a varied repertoire of music and performers to the Williamson.

Peter will be playing piano and talking about composers who ‘steal’ from each other, while Paula will be singing a blend of funny and serious songs. Plus, this month’s special guest is Ali Harwood.

Artist, poet, writer and teacher Ali is the host of the Liver Bards poetry event, currently hosts the ‘Itch’ spoken word evening at Shakespeare North and is part of the Wirral Poetry Festival organising team. He enjoys performing poetry on Merseyside and beyond, relishes poetry and art commissions and delivers workshops for organisations including The National Literacy Trust, Barnardo’s, The Reading Agency, Cheltenham Poetry Festival and Virtual School Liverpool.

He was the 2023 Artist/Creative of the Year for the Liverpool City Region and most recent Artist in Residence at Kingsley & Co Children’s Bookshop in Bootle.
