The Great Outdoors was an exhibition on display at the Williamson when we first reopened after being closed for 15 months due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The exhibition was inspired because so many people had developed a greater appreciation for nature and the ‘great outdoors’ during the lockdowns, when so many of our usual pastimes were unavailable to us and we found ourselves with more free time to fill. These resources have been developed to look at the weather and the seasons, and how we may choose to spend our time outdoors at different times of the year.
This is a PDF document of all the images in the Great Outdoors exhibition, with no title or artist listed. Many of the titles mention the season, so this PDF of the images allows the pupils to decide for themselves which season they think it is. They are A3 size and can be printed out to recreate the exhibition in your school, or can be laminated and used in a variety of activities. The titles are included in a separate sheet, and can also be printed out to use with the images.
