Jim Pearson is an indie songwriter who has been an active performer in the North West for more than a decade. His songs range from the whimsical to some of the most bitter and sombre themes, yet always with a paradoxical childlike spirit that meets them head-on.
His music has been played regularly on BBC 6 Music by Tom Robinson, and most recently Jim won the Judges Award at the Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge 2023 with his song The Boy with the Red Hat.
He will be playing two distinct sets of his own material; acoustic and electric.
The Cafe will be open for drinks and light bites (last hot food orders 8pm).
