The exhibition will run from Friday December 11th 2026 – Friday 31st December 2027. Tickets up to 31st March are now available to book, further dates will be available in due course.
The exhibition will show a never-before-seen glimpse into Paul’s archive and personal belongings. It will contextualise Paul as an LGBTQIA+ icon, award-winning broadcaster, performer, author, campaigner, and passionate advocate for both people and animals.
From championing LGBTQIA+ visibility and equality to encouraging children to read, supporting charitable causes and transforming attitudes towards rescue dogs, Paul gave a voice to those often unheard and became one of Britain’s most beloved cultural figures. From Tranmere to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, the “blonde bombsite of Birkenhead” to Battersea Dog’s Home, the exhibition will present Paul O’Grady as one of Britain’s most cherished, and significant cultural figures.
Entry to the exhibition and Williamson Art Gallery is free. You can attend without pre-booking, however we recommend booking your timed tickets in advance to guarantee your preferred entry time.
