Rachel Ann Le Bas was a British painter and printmaker celebrated for her finely observed etchings and aquatints. Born in Camberley, Surrey, she moved to Winsford on Exmoor in 1929, where she lived and worked for the rest of her life. Trained at the City & Guilds of London Art School under artists such as Henry Wilkinson, she developed a technical skill in printmaking, producing prints that captured the quiet beauty of rural landscapes, animals, and architectural scenes.
