About this objectThis drawing copies Burne Jones’s design for a Morris & Co rose window in the church of St Michael & St Mary Magdalene, Easthampstead. The composition features Christ surrounded by six angels in adoration, the circular arrangement evokes eternity and heavenly order and was designed to sit above a Last Judgement. Many other versions exist, including one at St Saviour’s, Oxton.
