Alison Schultz is a poet and musician from Wirral, with a background in teaching up to postgraduate level. She is one of the team who deliver Wirral Poetry Festival annually, curates a monthly performance night The Wordsmithery, and is currently working on her third collection. Her two previous volumes Eyes on the Bright Horizon (2018) and Observatory (2021) are available on Amazon.
Since 2022, Alison has been performing at Arts Centres and galleries with acclaimed guitarist John Chatterton. John specialises in atmospheric and emotive semi-improvised pieces, here accompanying the poems. The result is a dance between words and music which is hypnotic.
Each of them will do a short set separately, and then a longer, joint set.
