Sculptures

The Williamson collection contains many sculptures, which are often out on public display.

Two wooden sculptures by Christine Kowal Post are amongst the most popular in the museum. This short video takes a detailed look at “Eggs” and “Woman Fishing” and asks questions about what you can see.

The sculptures also feature in the resource pack created by our Learning Officer, Kathy Heywood. Click the buttons above or below to download.

All resources are aimed at KS2 and suitable for both both school and home learning. Young people and adults can also find out more about Christine Kowal Post by watching this video by the artist, hosted on our YouTube channel.
