Weave a Scarf Workshop

  • Weave a scarf

About This Project

Come and create a scarf using traditional weaving techniques in a day at the Williamson Art Gallery.

Everyone is welcome on a Weave a Scarf Workshop with Catherine Wright. Participants will use Ashford Sample It Looms to create gorgeous scarves using hand dyed yarns. You can even let our course leader Catherine  know which colours you’d like to weave with (or more importantly – which colours you can’t stand!).

The looms will be warped up and ready to go and all materials are included but if you’d like to bring some of your own yarns or ribbons etc to provide interest, you would be very welcome to.

Classes are kept small so that we can give you all the support you need. We have four separate days to chose from.

A day workshop is £65 and tickets can be booked through Lazy Kate Textiles website.
