Enjoy a classic movie in style at the Williamson, in an evening with a touch of class and vintage in the air.

Take a step back in time with us and recapture the experience of cinema-going in the golden days of film, from Academy award-winning colour classics to film noir.

You’ll enjoy a glass of fizz and canapés on arrival, followed by a delicious two course buffet which sets the scene for a nostalgic evening of relaxation and entertainment. Then it’s time to settle back and enjoy the experience, with an introducing from your knowledgeable MC.

The first film, screening on Friday 25th November, will be Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961).  Tickets cost £45 each and include a buffet supper, plus wine and canapes on arrival. Please arrive from 6:15pm for drinks, with the film starting at 6:45pm. Book tickets here.

About the film

A true classic, starring Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly, one of the most iconic characters to ever appear on screen.

This endearing and entertaining romantic comedy is the story of two young people in 1960s New York city. Holly is, a fiercely independent young woman wanting to make her own way in the world, and an aspiring young writer played by George Peppard. Their lives become entwined when he moves into her apartment building.

The film won two Academy Awards for its music, including Best Original Song for ‘Moon River’ by Henry Mancini
