Make a pictorial mosaic – June workshop

About This Project

Join mosaic artist Aleta Doran to make a pictorial mosaic on Sunday 30th June

Make a pictorial mosaic inspired by the art of Ancient Egypt, or a subject of your choice. You might want to choose your own subject and bring along some images to inspire you eg butterfly, flower, dragonfly…

You will use glass tiles to create a mosaic for your home which can be displayed indoors, choosing from a large selection of shapes, sizes, colours and decorative finishes.

You will learn to cut and shape glass tiles and develop a clear understanding of the process of constructing a mosaic, which can be applied to your own projects at home.

Your finished piece will need to be grouted at home once the adhesive is completely dry – you will be given grout and clear written instructions to take home.

This course is suitable for beginners and those who wish to develop their skills – full support and guidance will be given by the tutor.

This course is not suitable for anyone under 16 years of age.

The course runs from 11-4.30 on Sunday 30th June, and a light lunch is included in the course fee of £45.  Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
