Guitar Concert with Eleanor Kelly

About This Project

Ever-popular performer Eleanor Kelly returns to the Williamson with classical guitar music to warm a winter Sunday

Eleanor is currently preparing to study in Alicante on the prestigious Máster en Interpretación Guitarra Clásica course, where she will study with world-renowned musicians. Her recital at the Williamson will cover the repertoire of works she’s preparing for this experience. It promises to be an eclectic mix of styles from across the classical guitar repertoire.

Eleanor Kelly has performed in the Williamson on many occasions. As a soloist, Eleanor has recently performed at the International Guitar Festival of Great Britain and at the Angel Field Festival where she and the Woodside String Quartet gave the UK premiere of Claudia Montero’s Latin Grammy award-winning Luces y Sombras. She is one half of the D2e Duo alongside Yvonne Gründer, specialising in works by female and contemporary composers. Additionally, Eleanor has been the musical director of Liverpool Guitar Society since 2015. You can find out more about Eleanor on her website

This concert takes place on Sunday 17th November at 2pm and is free, although donations are warmly welcomed.
