Deeside Primary Schools

About This Project

Gallery 11 hosts an exhibition of work by pupils of Deeside primary schools on the theme of “Coast to Country”

The 19 primary schools in Wirral’s Deeside Cluster Group have a vision: To inspire our whole school community to be ‘A PART’ of our world.

Our values are:

  • APPRECIATE the world around us, our role as guardians of this planet, the beauty of our local area.
  • PROTECT the local environment, the animals around the world who need our help, future generations
  • AWARENESS raised across our local communities to enact real and lasting change
  • RESPONSIBILITY to help meet our global goals, to care for our world, to help the environment
  • TOGETHER as a school, as a community, as global citizens.

We have all pledged to clean up Wirral, by reducing our waste with a plastics pledge operating in each school. We have pledged to learn about the creatures and wildlife in our area and why many of them need help to survive. We have pledged to link with community groups to strengthen our sense of community and we all left our schools and took part in a Wirral-wide litter pick to really clean up where we live and love.

This exhibition features endangered creatures in Wirral and they have been created from waste materials, by the pupils at our school. In creating them we all had to think about the impact of this waste on these lovely creatures.

The exhibition will run from 10th July until 8th September and, like all of the Williamson’s exhibitions, is free.  We are open Wednesday=Sunday 10am-5pm.
