Books and Banter for December

  • Food for thought

About This Project

Books and Banter – our monthly informal and fun evening at the Williamson Art Gallery.

On the evening of Thursday, December 6th,  we are looking at FOOD in novels or even cook books.

Come and share your thoughts and spend an enjoyable couple of hours with like-minded folk. Books & Banter is a book club that is not a book club. It is an opportunity to sit down and talk about books. The discussion is facilitated but not restricted and tangents are welcomed. Cafe open from 6pm for hot and cold food, cash only.

The Williamson Cafe

The Williamson Cafe

Please be considerate of our neighbours when parking (our car park can get filled quickly as there are other functions on in the gallery at the same time), alternatively carpool with friends, use public transport or walk if you are able.

This evening event is free and we ask that attendees support The Williamson Cafe by ordering a meal, or a hot drink and a cake. Hot and cold food is available from 6pm from The Williamson Cafe and with talking and sharing planned to start from 7pm with last orders being taken at 8.30pm. Please note the cafe takes cash only.

This evening will be a busy night as we have our monthly life drawing class in the gallery so please park with consideration for our neighbours.
