Macmillan ask people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings. Last year alone, they raised over £27 million and together, we can make this another successful year for our contribution from the Williamson Art Gallery as we have special reasons to mark this occasion.
This year, our coffee morning is in memory of Janet Ballinger, dearly beloved mother of our learning officer, who sadly passed away earlier this summer and in support of one of our young volunteers (granddaughter of Stuart Campbell – gallery assistant) Emilee Campbell. All the monies from the cake and any donations will go to Macmillan.
Having a Coffee Morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause. If you need inspiration to be play a culinary part of our coffee morning….go to https://coffee.macmillan.org.uk/baking-recipes/
Please be considerate of our neighbours when parking either in our Mather Road car park or on street, alternatively carpool with friends, use public transport or walk if you are able. This daytime event is free and we ask that attendees support The Williamson Cafe by hot drink to eat with the entries into the cake contest. Please note the cafe takes cash only.
