Friday 30th June – Saturday 22nd July

A Festival of Firsts Event with The Willliamson Art Gallery and Museum

This year the Festival is looking at how creating art work can help to improve the lives of those living with the myriad challenges (and opportunities!) of aging. This exhibition will feature some of the work produced as a result of this exploration, and we hope it will be the start of something bigger.

Wirral Festival of Firsts was established in Hoylake in 2011 to deliver an innovative, community based arts festival to encourage participation, the showcasing of local talent as well as the opportunity for the community to access and enjoy some examples of the best art, music and poetry in the country.

The programme of events will include the likes of Poetry Proms, story telling, Art on the Prom, live music including a jazz parade and film showings.

See their website www.festivaloffirsts.com for full details of the abundance of concerts and event taking place.

Free admission for the exhibition 10.00am – 5.00pm (closed Mondays and Tuesdays)
