It is always such a pleasure to visit the event, with all the talented local artists exhibiting their work.
From the first fair in 2004 in Gallery Thirteen, the fair has expanded to four rooms within the Williamson with established members, new members and annual guests presenting a diverse mix of interesting and innovative art with something to suit every taste and pocket. The Oxton Art Fair has selected guests artists to compliment the work of this year’s exhibiting Oxton Artists on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of November 2017 for its biggest event yet.
Visitors can expect to see beautifully crafted handmade artworks such as pottery, jewellery and textiles, as well as photography, printmaking and everything in between.
Viewed as Wirral’s must-visit pre-Christmas event, it gives both gift buyers and browsers a chance to chat to the artists about their work and if they choose, buy a truly individual piece.
This year the fair will be opened by Director of the Bluecoat Display Centre, Maureen Bampton, who is thrilled to be attending the event.
